Integrated Media Consortium Welcomes SpecComm International Inc. as Member

Chicago, IL

The Integrated Media Cooperative announced today the addition of SpecComm International Inc. to its roster of members.

SpecComm International Inc. serves select business-to-business and consumer markets with 16 magazines and guides, a host of newsletters, Web offerings, research and analysis, and data and custom media products.

"We are very excited to add SpecComm to our membership," said Bill Walker, President and CEO of IMC. "They bring considerable credibility to our organization, and their publishing expertise will add to our knowledge base as we evaluate potential partners for products and services."

Lesley Castle, Vice President of Operations for SpecComm International, said, "Joining forces with the other IMC members to hold down costs enables us to channel those dollars into new products and services, which is part of our overall strategic vision."

The Integrated Media Cooperative was founded on March 15, 2005; our members include Allured Publishing Corporation; Douglas Publishing; Dowden Health Media, a subsidiary of Lebhar- Freidman Inc.; Edgell Communications; Farm Journal Media; Meister Media Worldwide; NTP Media, Inc.; Northstar Travel Media, LLC; Putman Media; SpecComm International Inc.; Stamats Communications Inc.; and Vance Publishing Corporation. These companies represent more than 200 magazines, with a combined circulation of over 4 million and more than $300 million in annual revenues. The Integrated Media Cooperative is dedicated to the preservation of independent small- to medium-sized magazine publishing companies by providing opportunities to share best practices, innovate through mutual efforts and benefit financially through consolidation of volume purchasing. We will strive to reach these goals by collaborating with suppliers of goods and services, offering them reduced competition, greater than average growth, reduced marketing costs, and open communication and information flow.
